Epstein Documents Reveal Links to Prominent Figures With Mallorca Connections
Newly disclosed documents related to Jeffrey Epstein have surfaced connections between the convicted sex offender and several high-profile individuals with ties to Mallorca, raising questions about the extent of their relationships.
Richard Branson’s Caribbean Island Exchanges
The most prominent name revealed is Sir Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group. Emails from 2012-2013 show both men – who owned neighboring private islands in the Caribbean – exchanging invitations. In one message obtained by the BBC, Branson wrote: “Any time you’re in the area would love to see you. As long as you bring your harem!“
Virgin Group clarified to media outlets that “harem” referred to three adult members of Epstein’s team, stating: “Contact was limited to group or business settings on only a few occasions more than twelve years ago.”
According to Virgin’s official statement, due diligence conducted when Epstein offered a charity donation “uncovered serious allegations,” leading Virgin Unite to reject the funds. The Bransons subsequently decided “not to meet or speak with Epstein again.”
Reuben Brothers’ Mallorca Interests
The documents also reference British billionaires the Reuben brothers, who hold substantial property investments in Mallorca. Records indicate Epstein researched one brother before a potential 2010 meeting, though no details about the encounter’s nature have been confirmed.
Leslie Wexner’s Yacht Connections
The papers reaffirm Epstein’s well-documented ties to retail magnate Leslie Wexner, founder of L Brands (formerly Limited Brands). Notably, Wexner’s 100-meter yacht the Limitless frequents Mallorcan waters for maintenance at local shipyards. This connection comes as Wexner faces scrutiny from the US House Oversight Committee regarding his Epstein links.
Due Diligence and Ongoing Implications
These revelations highlight how Epstein leveraged elite social networks. As Virgin Group’s statement emphasized: “Had they had the full picture and information, there would have been no contact whatsoever.” The documents surface as authorities continue investigating Epstein’s global network following his 2019 death.
All individuals mentioned deny any awareness of or involvement in Epstein’s criminal activities. Legal experts note the importance of distinguishing social contacts from culpability as investigations continue.
