Overview of the 1st Mallorca Global Tournament
The first Mallorca Global Tournament, called “18 Holes, 18 Brands,” took place on 21 February at Golf Maioris. It turned a regular golf day into a mix of sport, food, and networking, attracting 92 players who enjoyed a well‑planned experience from start to finish.
What Made It Special
Participants praised the clear purpose and smooth execution. Dr. Javier Beut noted that when an event is organized well, the quality shows. The atmosphere allowed conversations to flow naturally, without the pressure of forced networking, which made the day feel relaxed yet productive.
The Course and Brands
Golf Maioris, known as one of Mallorca’s best courses, hosted the competition. Each hole was linked to a different brand, giving players a chance to discover companies such as Air Europa, Absolut Home, Absolut Play, Absolut BBQ, Autovidal (Volvo, Alfa Romeo, Omoda, Jaecoo), HM Hoteles, Balearhouse, Grupo La Vasca, Ona Clinic, Studio Gallery, Hammam Al Ándalus, Palma Motos, Llull Segur, Dyreco, Palma Beach, and Previs. A short golf clinic also welcomed 28 newcomers, highlighting the event’s open and inclusive vibe.
Food and Fun
The day began with a welcome pack worth over €100 and a breakfast from Ca’n Joan de s’Aigo, featuring coffee, ensaimadas, and cuartos. Midway, Grupo La Vasca served a tasty snack that turned a simple break into a social hub. After the round, players gathered at L‑Club Restaurant & Bar for an aperitif, lunch, prize‑giving, and a raffle with prizes valued at more than €10,000—including European trips, a New York getaway, hotel stays, gastronomic experiences, Lottusse shoes, wellness treats, and decorative items.
