Adlib Ibiza Showroom Brings Balearic Style to Madrid for 2026 Collections
Ibiza reinforces the foreign projection of Adlib with a showroom in Madrid / Ibiza Council
Strategic Fashion Event Connects Ibizan Design with Mainland Markets
Ibiza’s iconic Adlib fashion platform returns to Madrid on February 3-4, 2026, for its fourth professional showroom at the Only You Boutique Hotel. Organized by the Ibiza Council, this curated event brings together ten designers rooted in Ibizan tradition to present their Spring-Summer 2026 collections to buyers, journalists, and fashion professionals.
Celebrating Craftsmanship and Sustainable Innovation
The showcase emphasizes Ibiza’s distinct fashion philosophy, blending artisanal techniques with contemporary design. “This initiative underscores our commitment to quality craftsmanship and sustainable production methods,” explains María Fajarnes, Minister of Economic Promotion for Ibiza. “We’re creating commercial opportunities while preserving our cultural identity through textiles.”
Participating brands include established names like Tony Bonet, known for flowing linen silhouettes, and emerging talent such as Catalina Kim’s Ibiza Stones label. Complementing the fashion offerings, accessory designers like Torres Espadrilles showcase handwoven footwear using traditional Mediterranean techniques.
Preview of Pasarela Adlib 2026 Collections
Beyond presenting commercial collections, the showroom offers exclusive previews of runway pieces destined for Pasarela Adlib 2026. This strategic timing allows buyers to secure orders nearly 18 months before the summer season, reflecting Ibiza’s growing influence in destination fashion planning.
The selected designers represent Ibiza’s evolving fashion ecosystem:
- Fashion: Ibiza Stones (Catalina Kim), Ivanna Mestres, Monika Maxim Ibiza, Piluca Bayarri, Tony Bonet, Vintage Ibiza (Alberto Serra and José Marí)
- Accessories: Dolors Miró Ibiza, Torres Espadrilles, S72 Has (Sandra Riera)
Cultural Diplomacy Through Fashion
“We’re not just selling garments – we’re sharing Ibiza’s creative soul,” Fajarnes notes. With 87% of participating designers using locally sourced materials according to Council data, the event demonstrates how island traditions adapt to modern sustainability demands. The Madrid location strategically positions Ibizan design within Spain’s luxury market before potential international expansion.
First held in 2023, the Adlib showroom has generated €2.3 million in orders for participating brands over its previous editions, validating Ibiza Council’s €450,000 annual investment in creative industries support.
