About the Exhibition
Among the five projects presented, the curatorial proposal of Javier Sánchez Martínez was the best valued by the jury, made up of the commissioner Pilar Cruz, the commissioner Sebastià Mascaró Cabrer, the gallery owner Juan González de Riancho, the head of the visual arts area of the IEB, Karen Müller, and the director of the IEB, Llorenç Perelló. The “Tornar-se un cos d’aigua” project brings together various sculptural works by both authors. The objective, according to curator Javier Sánchez, is to display an alternative imaginary of the body through the work of two creators who start from an attitude of dissidence towards sculpture.
