The School Archery League is experiencing a highly contested day in Ibiza

Young Archers Shine in Ibiza’s School Archery League

The Victor Juan Gallery in Ibiza hosted the third edition of the School Archery League “Sport for school age” 2025-2026, organized by the Ibiza Council, on January 24. The event brought together a large group of young male and female archers from the Pitiusas, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship.

Competitive Spirit and Camaraderie

The competition took place throughout the afternoon, with participants of different ages facing the day as a new opportunity to continue growing within the school calendar. The level was very even in most categories, with tight classifications that maintained the excitement until the end in several of the tests. The atmosphere was marked by concentration, sportsmanship, and camaraderie, highlighting the good moment of grassroots archery in the Pitiusas.

Category Winners

In Men’s Recurve U11, Blai Vila Costa took the top spot, followed by Daniel Escandell Fernández in second and Lluc Tur Llodrà in third. Iris Cotaina Costa won the Women’s Recurve U11 category, with Irie Sánchez Lozano and Ainara Guisado Márquez taking second and third place, respectively. The men’s U13 Recurve category saw Álvaro Madrid García emerge as the winner, with Álvaro Prats Bonet and Pablo González Martín finishing second and third.

Aretha Vidagany Mateo won the Recurve U13 women’s category, followed by Sara Costa Ferrando and Miranda Romero Lobato. In the U15 women’s Recurve, Janna Feddoul Nounis Bouaziz took the top spot, ahead of Daniela Ferrer Treby and Roa Boulkheir. Dan Gabriel Sbircea won the Men’s U18 Recurve category, with Marc Serra Blazevic finishing second. Hilaryn Ariana Correa Cerezo won the U18 women’s Recurve, followed by Ayane Fuentes Pulido and Yasmina Ferrer Treby.

A Promising Future for Archery in the Pitiusas

The third day of the School League highlighted the growth and competitive level of grassroots archery in the Pitiusas, with a quarry that continues to grow both in number and competitive level. This points to a very interesting final stretch of the season. For more information, visit Here
