Teatre Principal de Palma Unveils Diverse 2025/26 Season Featuring Echanove, Alonso & Wagner Premiere

Palma’s historic Teatre Principal revealed an ambitious 25/26 season program featuring over thirty productions across theater, dance, music and opera from February to July 2026. The program celebrates both international stars and Mallorcan talent while prioritizing accessibility initiatives.

The Board of Trustees unanimously approved the season curated by artistic director Miquel Martorell, which Culture Minister Antònia Roca describes as “a mosaic where quality and diversity ensure every audience member finds their place.”

Commitment to Accessibility & Local Talent

Martorell emphasized the theater’s dual focus this season: “We’re amplifying local voices through eight in-house productions while expanding our social mission.” Notable initiatives include:

  • 11 performances adapted for audiences with functional diversity
  • New 25% discount vouchers for dance productions
  • Free coach services for schools outside Palma
  • Opera after-party events targeting younger audiences
